	Online Proxy Checker is a Java applet that helps you to determine whether a given proxy allows to setup TCP or UDP tunnel from your local machine to a remote computer at specific service port.

	I don't see the applet. What's wrong?
	If you cannot see the Java applets on this page, you need to enable Java in your Web browser. Here is how: All major browsers + Sun JRE: Please look here for instructions for different browsers. Internet Explorer + Microsoft's JVM (Windows released prior to Windows XP SP2): Go to Tools/Internet Options and click the Security tab. Click the Custom Level button and unselect Disable Java under Java heading. Mac browsers that use MRJ (Apple's JVM) to run applets are not currently supported.

	How does Online Proxy Checker work?
	Online Proxy Checker connects to a publicly available fast service (such as news.microsoft.com) through given proxy and then tries to setup and validate tunnel. Which exact service will be chosen depends on the Tunneled Protocol/Destination Port setting. When complete, Online Proxy Checker will display a result - SUCCEEDED or FAILED - and a status or error string.
